ENDANGERED SPECIES  – IMMERSIVE LIGHT PROJECTION PHOTOGRAPHY

Experience the captivating beauty of endangered species through immersive light projection photography.

As a society, we face numerous challenges, and one of the most pressing issues is the extinction of animals. Since colonization, over 100 endemic species have been lost in Australia alone, while worldwide, the number of endangered species in 2022 is a staggering 16,306.

According to the World Wildlife Fund, wildlife populations have declined by an average of 68% since 1970, and this trend is expected to continue. This decline is due to factors such as habitat loss, climate change, poaching, and overfishing.

When a species goes extinct, it doesn't just disappear from the planet. It can have far-reaching consequences on the entire ecosystem. For example, the extinction of bees could have a significant impact on food production, as they are responsible for pollinating many of the crops we rely on.

Through light projection we can slip into the skins of endangered species to better understand their situation and develop more effective conservation strategies. By doing so, we can help protect these magnificent creatures and ensure that they continue to thrive in the years to come.
